Adding a Page to your NetPro Website

 To add a page to your website you can easily click on the add page link at the top of the page lists on the home page's Pages Tab.  Once you have clicked on the Add Page Link the add page form will display allowing you to enter the appropirate data for the page.

Not all aspects of the page's content are ready for setup. Once you set the initial detials of the pages information you will be redirected to the edit page form that will allow you to continue adding other content items and widgets to the page.

The Add Page Form:

  • Page Name: Please enter an administrative name for the page that is 20 charachters max ans contains no spaces.
  • Active: Sets wether or not the page is active and will display on the site.
  • Page Display Name: Please enter the name of the page as you would like it to appear on the header of the page.
  • Header Image: This image will replace the Page Display Name header at the top of the page if an image is uploaded.

Page Main Content

  • Page Content: This is a WYSIWYG HTML editor for the page content of your page. This content will display emmediately below your page hear information within your site template.

Navigation Options
This section of the form allows you to properly position your page within the site's navigation structure. In order to set the navigation position properly you will have to set its Parent Page and its SortOrder under the parent.

  • Navigation Image: This image is used as the

    • Child Of: Select the Pages Parent
    • Sort Order: Select the Pages Sort Position under the Parent
    • ex. 1. To place a page under the clinic page as a child choose Clinic as the parent page (Child Of) and set a sort order for the page. 
    • ex. 2. To place a page under the clinic page as a sibling of the page choose Home as the parent page (Child Of) and set the sort order to be higher than the clinic pages sort order and lower than the next page on that nav level's list sort order.
  • Include In Navigation: This setting setermines whether the page shown in the navigation. If a page is not included in the navigation all of its children will also be hidden from the navigation.

Page Meta Information
The section allows you to set the information that search engines will use to rank the content on this page. In order to optimize the search engine tranking for your site you may want to concider a SEO eveluation by one of our SEO gurus. 

  • Use Meta: Check to place the meta information on the page.
  • Meta Keywords: List the keywords that represent your site.
  • Meta Description: Create a description for this page that uses as many of the appropriate keywords as possible.

Add Page Button
Click the Add Page Button to add the page to the system. After the page has been saved you will be redirected to the Edit Page to add any additional Content and Widgets to the page.

 

How to Edit a Page in the NetPro Admin Console

Start by logging into the NetPro Admin Console.  On the Home Page you will see a set of tabs featuring a tab for each of the applications in the NetPro suite. The first tab is the pages tab and it is selected by default.

On the Pages tab you will find a list of the pages in your site organized according to their place in the navigation system. Click on the page name or the edit icon to edit the page.

This brings op the Edit Page form that will allow you to adjust all of the pages settings. There are several tabs of settings that can be set. None of the changes that you make will take effect until the page has been saved by pressing the edit page button or the disk icon (save) on the editor.

Main Content

The Main content Tab contains the settings for the main settings of the page.

Application Tab (Optional)
This tab only displays if the page is accociated with an application. If this page is an application page then you can edit the details of the associated application from this tab.

Widgets
Widgets are content blocks that display preview data for each of the integrated applications. To add a widget to the page click on Add Widget link. When the Add Widget window comes up we will need to

Additional Content
The Additional Content tab show additional content items that have been added to the page. Additional Content Items are blocks of HTML code that can be placed on the site in various regions to enhance the presentation and utilization of space on your site.
On this tab you can add an Additional Content item to the page or edit existing Additional Content items.
